Beware of scammers! Whatever strict a dating agency's anti-scam policy is, no one is safe from coming across a woman who would like to have you scammed and and try to get some money from men. At least you should be smart enough to look around for signs of possible scam attempt. A man should be immediately put on alert if she asks you to:

  • pay off some debt of hers
  • ask you to send you cash via the Western Union to buy an air ticket or pay for her airfare so she could come immediately to America and marry you
  • cover her travel expenses so she would travel to another city to get the visa
  • she says she needs some money for obtaining travel documents
  • to help her cover other expenses like curing her mother's desease etc.

    The fake stories or the sort are most often being used by scammer girls to scam men and get money out of their wallet. Never, never send your virtual Russian girlfriend any money before you have met her in person. Otherwise don't get too surprised to discover your girl even doesn't exist. Scammers can be surprisingly manipulative and inventive. But if you don't forget to stay alert and keep using common sense, you are almost guaranteed of never falling victim of a crook's shameless scam. The very first moment you received suspicious requests, contact your agency immediately and report the case. Normally a good agency will investigate the situation and take scammers offline or put her on scammers blacklist.
